Tennis to resume in England on March 29th

TENNIS fans in England can look forward to getting back on court next month when tennis courts will be allowed to reopen.

The government has announced that outdoor sports like tennis and golf will be allowed from March 29th as part of the phased lifting of the National Lockdown the country was placed into in January.

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) subsequently confirmed that this would mean singles, doubles, coaching and club sessions (group activity) would be permitted outdoors and subject to further clarification on maximum group sizes.

Indoor tennis facilities will have to wait a little long before being allowed to reopen.
